Holiday Nature Days!

Join us for Nature Days, a little taste of our Summer Program! This is a small-scale, 9am-3pm, drop-off Bilingual Program offered during most holidays and school breaks throughout the academic year. Days offered vary depending of the holiday/break, and rates are adjusted accordingly. Children ages 3+ will have the opportunity to:

• Immerse themselves in our local natural environment on daily nature hikes

• Learn about biodiversity, local wildlife, unique habitats, endangered species, conservation, sustainability and other subjects that foster a positive environmental attitude

• Do field science and participate in community & citizen science projects

• Learn and use Spanish throughout the day

• Take part in making sustainable and nature-inspired arts & crafts

• Have book readings under willows, oaks, or by a creek bed

• Do woodworking

• Gain self confidence, independence, and learn life skills

• Embrace their curiosity and sense of wonder

• Do yoga in nature

• Learn to be more empathetic and caring with those around them and with their environment

• Play water games, face-painting, Legos, and so much more!

All while safely socializing and interacting with peers, forming a bond with nature, and becoming naturalist without even noticing it!

There is a max 7:1 ratio guided by a biologist, educator, and trained naturalist, all 100% outdoors at various locations!
